Beyond refineries, BXH-102 is widely used for rust prevention of machined parts, metalworking fluid formulations and oil & gas gathering pipeline protection, and serves as an intermediate for downstream formulators.
Oil-soluble imidazoline corrosion inhibitor is one of the most widely used corrosion inhibitor categories in the petrochemical and oil fields. BXH-102 dissolves the imidazoline active component in an organic solvent carrier, injects it into an oil phase medium, and then disperses on its own. It competitively adsorbs on the metal surface, displaces the adsorbed corrosive water molecules, and forms a hydrophobic protective film.
Compared with water-soluble corrosion inhibitors, BXH-102 is more suitable Pipelines with low crude oil moisture content (<40%), Refining unit circulating oil injection point and Anti-corrosion protection of tank bottom. For oilfield conditions with high water content (>60%), it is recommended to use OEM anti-emulsification type.
